Pardon the pun, but I am "drawn" to producing art that tells a story. I am a retired art instructor and now have a small business as an artist, writer, illustrator and book designer. I have been successful in this endeavor and have find that it has also helped me to hone my skills as a fine artist. I believe it is of vital importance to continue working as a fine artist and I am currently working on a series of paintings of streets and store scenes in Lexington. It is interesting to see how my love of story telling is reflected in these narrative paintings.

When creating public art, such as for Horse Mania and Barrel Mania, I utilize a whimsical style in my artworks to provide an enjoyable experience for the viewing public.
