A design competition was held in early 2013 to challenge designers to reimagine downtown and the Town Branch Commons. Below is part of the winning design by SCAPE.

Re-envisioned as a central boulevard, the Downtown Greenway is designed for weekday workers out for a break, morning joggers, commuting cyclists, and those strolling after a meal on Main Street. Vine Street would continue to carry cars, but also tie into the Town Branch and Legacy Trails. This image looks east along Vine Street from the intersection with Mill Street.
